Hello from Hive Artists CIC
We are a vibrant, community-based gallery in the heart of Bolton. Founded in 2022 as a Community Interest Company, we support both emerging and established artists by showcasing a year-round programme of exciting visual art exhibitions, live events, and hands-on workshops for all ages and abilities.
You’ll find us on the first floor of the Market Place Shopping Centre, a bright and welcoming space filled with creativity and inspiration. From solo shows and themed group exhibitions to public art projects like Beacons of Bolton, there’s always something new to explore.
Hive is free to visit, fully accessible, and open to everyone — whether you're a seasoned art lover or just curious to see what’s on.

We’re lucky enough to have a year-round programme of ever-changing exhibitions. Most shows last about six weeks, followed by a short break before the next one begins, so there’s always something new to see.
